Edoml is operated by Mercury Platform Limited. Website: edoml.app. Edoml is a global fashion destination for premium earrings, available to customers worldwide.
Information you provide: email, phone, password, display name, username, profile photo/video, bio, city, home town, sex, date of birth, nationality, occupation, workplace, hobbies, account purposes, social links, and user-generated content (posts, photos, videos, audio, comments, messages, livestreams, stickers). Automatically collected: device model, OS, app version, language, IP address, in-app activity, location (only when you enable it), and camera/microphone access (only when you use capture, calls, or livestreams). From third parties: identifier, name, and email from Apple Sign In or Google Sign-In, used for authentication only.
To create and manage your account, display your profile and posts according to your visibility settings, deliver messaging, calls, Match Room, group rooms, and livestreams, provide location-based discovery and EDL functionality, send notifications, detect and act on abuse and fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Service.
Consent (optional data like location, camera, notifications); Contract (operating your account and delivering the Service); Legitimate interests (safety, security, abuse prevention); and Legal obligation (complying with Nigerian and international law).
With other users, only the content and profile information you choose to make visible. With service providers (hosting, authentication, payments via Stripe where available, push notifications, analytics) under data-processing terms. For safety and legal reasons: to investigate reports, prevent harm, enforce our Terms, and respond to valid legal requests. We never sell your personal data.
The Service may integrate with Apple Sign In, Google Sign-In, Stripe (payment processing, where enabled), cloud hosting and storage providers, and push notification services — each governed by their own privacy policy. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Account data is retained while your account is active. When you request account deletion, we remove your profile, posts, media, messages, connections, and personal settings within 30 days. We may retain limited safety and moderation records (reports, enforcement actions) for up to 24 months after deletion to prevent repeat abuse and handle disputes, as permitted by law. Transaction records may be retained as required by tax and financial law.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and relevant authorities of a personal-data breach where legally required.
Access the personal data we hold, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (by emailing legal@edoml.app or using the account controls in the app), withdraw consent for optional processing (location, notifications, camera) in your device or in-app settings, object to or restrict processing, and export a copy of your data.
The Service is not directed to anyone under 16 (or the minimum age required by local law, if higher). We require age confirmation at sign-up. If a minor has registered without consent, contact support@edoml.app and we will remove the account.
Your data may be processed on servers outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection law.
You can delete your account at any time from the app: Settings > Account Status > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want to pause, use Deactivate instead.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
Edoml uses cookies and similar technologies (small files stored on your device) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, operate the shopping cart, measure traffic and improve the Service. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.
We may display advertising provided by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to the wider internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and learn more at aboutads.info. We do not share your personal data with advertisers for their own independent marketing purposes.
